Artist focus: MYUNG NAM AN
South Korean artist, Myung Nam An, lives in London, where she carefully moulds, crafts, and fires porcelain artworks. These delicate pieces often reflect elements of objects found in nature, which inspire and excite the artist.
Through an intricate process of glazing and multiple firings, Myung is able to achieve beautiful variations of colour and reflective golds in her work, that accompany patterned detail, which together follow a satisfying sense of uniformity.
