Artist focus: PAUL KESSLING
This month we are highlighting Scottish artist Paul Kessling, known for his dynamic, nature-inspired paintings. Originally trained in sculpture, Paul shifted to painting after studying the Moai on Rapa Nui (Easter Island statues), he was spontaneously drawn to the expressive power of colour and movement to convey our relationship to nature.
Paul’s distinctive wet-in-wet technique and bold, swirling strokes capture the energy of natural landscapes through chaotic patterns.
