Artist focus: MAX NAYLOR
This month’s artist in focus is Max Naylor, who, with impressive talent, uses archival inks and oil paints to create landscapes that feel familiar yet otherworldly with his unique use of colour, and placement of texture.
Max develops his work through the observation and study of natural and urban environments, which he then unravels and transforms into a completely new scene, mixing imagination with reality. With a keen interest in Art Deco and traditional Japanese woodblock prints, Max has created a unique style that exudes energy, vibrance, and personality.
